Camp is Cool! Parents, are you looking for some summer fun for your little ones? Well, how about joining us at the Co-op's summer camp! We offer six one-week sessions, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm, from June 20th - July 29th for ages 2 1/2 thru 6. Each week will focus on a different fun and exciting theme. This year's themes are: Week 1: Gardening Week 2: Beach Week 3: Animals Week 4: Eric Carle Week 5: Bugs Week 6: Wee Folk (Fairies) Special activities also include dress-up day, movie day, yoga, splash day and pizza day! The summer camp experience provides school continuity for children over the summer and gives the younger students a chance to explore the "big kid" Pre-K room. Students befriend children from other classes as well as interact with their own classmates for extended, summertime play! Children should bring their lunch along with a change of clothes and a towel on splash days. Parents do not co-op in the classroom, but at the start of each week there will be a sign-up sheet for snacks, water, paper towels and other supplies. Back to run camp this year to rave reviews from students and parents alike is Christi Porter, our Director and Pre-K teacher. Returning as our lead counselor is Ms. Mabelis, a dually certified Kindergarten teacher with a huge Co-op fan base (kids and parents alike!). Register for camp for $190 a week * A non-refundable $50 deposit for each week must accompany registration form. The remaining balance is due May 18, 2016. Open Registration will be held Thursday, March 31st, 9:00-9:30am. Register early! After March 31st, enrollment is open to new students outside of the Co-op. If you have any questions, please contact Tricia Perez at triciaperez@me.com. Partial weeks are also available ($45 per day) - inquire today. Click here for the registration form. |
